Looking good man, turn up the contrast on the wood grip a little, looks a bit 'washy'

there are 2 things that are placholders on the skin right now, the grip texture, and the back of the slide. Forgot to mention that, i might also end up finishing this and make a public release for CS:Source because there is one douche who is trying to beat my skin within the dev team in OR, and ofcourse the mod leader will do nothing...

Good start. Metal at the end of the rail looks very nice. Wooden grip could use some tuning, but that was already mentioned... Did you photoshop this, or did you use Pictures?

anyway, nice work so far...

nice stuff sofar. But, i see you are modelling the right side too, make sure you model the part the mag release system thats at the right side of the gun.

the colt logo figure, should be there, that logo wasnt even designed back then

doyle: i did this from scratch, the skin is all me

Schuey: I did not model this, this is Soul Slayers model, my skin; and the first 1911 may have been made in 1911, but that doesnt mean we dont still manufacture them http://www.kaehny.de/schreckschuss/c...z_vollbild.JPG

looks at the link on my last post
alot of stuff you wont even notice inagme like the mag release, its just too small. Plus i dont think you'll be carefully looking at the gun while your shooting zombies... will you?

Do you have access to using specs or bump maps for CS:Source mods? If so, you could really push the quality much higher with them.
