Pipe Wrench

Current Polycount - 1500
Where are you looking to receive criticism - Nothing specifically

This is (going to be) an old pipe wrench, rather beat up from having been dropped and slammed about in frustration. Doing it to reasonable FPS spec. The dents were done in zbrush. Haven't UV mapped it yet.

this is looking nice, good modelling and presentation
can you weld together these blue marked vertices? i think, if you do that, overall shape will not change and you will save some polygons

Removing those vertices would save some tris indeed, although, it would also cause some smoothing errors.. I'm thinking removing the edgeloops running over the handle would be a better idéa

Still though, I wonder, would this be a 1st person view weapon?

Cheers!

Yeah that's basically what I was going for.

I can't delete all of these vertices because they create contour, but it's a fairly subtle curve so I might be able to nix the middle ones. I've gotten used to have a middle edge for symmetry purposes but that won't be necessary here.
