I think you should put Abe in its mouth!

Looks astounding so far. I'm curious to see the texturing.

really cool so far though, those normals came out sweet
Good shout, I'd not noticed that. should be easy enough to fix up in zbrush I guess.

Cheers lad

If you plan on making a beauty render for this, you should make it like the scrab cakes poster. Looks awesome so far man, but im pretty sure the scrab has one pair of pec muscles with 2 slight indents not 3 pairs of muscles? ah who cares its your version and like you said there's no clear reference.

Yeah I was a bit rubbish at trying to get it to look exactly like the reference, so in the end I just opted to play about with the design a bit. I know they're not how real muscles look or anything, but to be honest I thought it looked pretty badass. Plus I don't know a lot about muscles, as I'm a lazy fat knacker.

What do you reckon? It it quite obvious that the chest is badly done, and is it worth my while redoing it?

I think you would need quite a bit of bulk and muscle to hold up that huge head.
The chest muscles in the concept image look like their bunching into a point in the centure, this reminds me more of a jumping horse than a human torso;
