Hope you don't mind that I took myself the liberty to change your threadname from test to the current given title of the first post

Cheers!

That's quite neat actually. like the lighting you used... Did you make those water and glass shaders too?

btw, there's a glitch in the room where that guy is hanging... if you jump on that platform you fall under the level... But other than that, top notch!

@ Wesley: Guess what i'll serve you when you come and visit me?

Tiros, thanks for doing that, I tried editing the name twice , but didnt update.

@doylle: the water and glass effects are built in shaders inside Unity engine, like most shaders in it , u can play around with the distortion , animation and refraction effects to the get the feel right... and .. yeah ...looks like you found a glitch , will i will get that fixed .

@wesley: thanks , well the initial design was a floating ship , ended up being a Static research facility.

man, that is just awesome, indeed.
Music theme works great with visuals. Great ambiance and sky mood! Just this small piece gives an impression of a cool scifi world around u.

The tune loop could be less noticeable though.

Is it hard to work in Unity btw? How was ur Unity learning curve?
I mean, as for "just artist", u know, if one has no programming background.

Keep it up, look forward to see more updates.

@doom3d
well yes Unity is Mac only, I am not sure if they are planning a PC standalone.

@Matroskin
Thanks for the comments, the Music is actually from a game called Fighting force 2, I have that for the playstation 1 .
and I got into using Unity because of its easy to use shaders and its a great realtime renderer, I am not at all a programmer, but the Unity forums and a few online resources helped me with basic scripts and codes and i was able to create on my own, I am more into the art work in games and scripts are something I do after work.

This is very nice, I found the glitch as well. (not that I was trying to hump the man...)
Also, you can shoot through walls.

But from the design point of view, everything looks great. Nice portfolio by the way.

Theres no plan to develop unity for pc (I bought a Mac to get it though lol).

It's easy to create a simple walk around like he has done in it , there is a FPS tutorial which explains most of the things he has used .

Great artwork on the level really impressive!
