Hi,

On first sight, they look great. The metal looks good, no comment on that, but the handle needs some tuning if you want to get it perfect. Let's start with the synthetic handle. The texture itself looks ok, but if you look very close you can see a seem going from one end to the other. This line is even better visible in the wood handle version, where you have light spots next to dark ones... you could solve this by usin the same texture space, but then mirror your uvw's... Thing is, if you use this knive as first person weapon, you'll see that seam for sure, unless the hand is covering the handle completely which i doubt...

but don't get me wrong, it's a great texture!

Nice texturing. I really like the lighting. Though the end of the handly is noticeably softer than the rest. What's the texture size?

great texture... but you could reduce polys on the handle because ingame you dont see it when the hand is over it. This polys could be used at the bladetrough.

doylle: those are a bit of brushed grunges.. there is a seam that it noticeable on the top due to the uvmap, but i'm sure it's not going to be visible in-game.

chris: Whole thing is on a 1024x1024, and i'll sharpen up the end of the handle a tad.

Captaincock: i didn't want to fuss with the model because A. i'm don't any barely any modeling expierence, and B this was for more practice, but thanks for the tip.

Anyways, i didn't like the wood so i made another along with few more variants.

Looks good.

maybe its just me but the lighting is a little too exagerated for my taste. I used to sell these knives and the metal never looked brushed.

Elliott, yeah i wasn't sure about that so you'll definealty be credited if this is released.

Prozac: i heard the blades were coated in a non-reflective brush but i decided to not go for that style.
