I redid the chest to give a less comicbook chest feel

Hi Crazyfool, nice progress. I think you will need to reduce the waste a bit. there should be a curve from the chest to the hip. the upper body should have the shape of a triangle upside down, getting more narrow at the bottom. Hope this helps. Roel

thanks Roelie, I will sort that out, heres a quick concept I have drawn up for what I want the final model to look like, excuse the roughness but Im still refining it.

Hes a mohawk wearing cyberpunk with a robotic arm and a love for revolvers hehe. Im sort of picturing him in a world much like what has been portrayed in the new game "rage" from ID software. with an absence of technological advances and a return to engines and pistons etc with a mad max dog eat dog feel.

EDIT

had some time over lunch to flesh it out a bit more

heres my zbrush so far I have unfortunately gone back to base meshes however, I wanted a bit more control over my topology and form, I know retopologising could have sorted it but a fresh start is always good.

Zspheres still rock but I think if you got a concept to stick to its much easier creating a good base

looks good CrazyFool...I noticed that every posting of a character model has people commenting on "proportion this, muscle that" etc., and alot of times thats true, but I think from the start you had a solid base mesh. Its always fresh to see a variation from the perfectly sculpted "buff guy" model that I think everyone who sees a character model is imagining when they comment on proportion and such. This skinny dude your sculpting already has a lot of character coming through. Keep up the great work, and your concept looks pretty bad ass! Looks like he's str8 out of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome!

I need to thin him out a little I think but learning alot on realistic anatomy as I go thanks to giovanni civardi

cheers bloodrobot, haha I agree completely, there is definatly way too many muscles being thrown around these days but its so easy to get carried away with muscles, especially with zbrush.
