its generally fine for static objects that dont animate but for like characters you dont want to make them out of different parts. i think some older engines have problems with objects not fully seamed up but it should be fine.
one crit is that you could lose some of edges in those cylinders, there is quite a lot there and for such a small object you really wouldnt notice the loss. Also you need to fix up the tops of the cylinders. Right now there ngons which basically means more then a 4 sided polygon which is bad. You only need to do this for the top as the bottom will be hidden inside the main structure. Here is an example of fixxing an ngon cylinder. ![]() |

here i did a quick paint over on your model where you need to fix polygons that have more then 4 edges.
just remember having a polygon with more then 4 edges is bad and you should never have it. you will have to cut them up to 3 or 4 sided polys. Here on the side you have a 6 sided poly which can be cut up easy into 2 different 4 sided polys. For the garage door you will need to split that up into 3 sections unless you extrude it in to allow some room for tanks to roll out as said before. yes this dose increase your polycount but it is needed when modeling. hope this helps ![]() |
