no problem. I always like to spread info to help people.
I got all this info through a number of methods; 1-I got advice from an artist who had more experience than me during my college years 2-I followed the advice and tuts of ben mathis 3-I also just learn through experience tanks again P.S. I tried out urban tactics blackout it is pretty for an independent title. |

This is what I've gotten accomplished so far. I plan on experimenting with zbrush, I've never used it before so I figured this is a relatively simple model to try it out on. Let me know what you think so far. The poly count is up to 1,595.

it looks fine but just one or two suggestions;
image 1 ![]() image 2 ![]() ----image1 firstly try to just bring the outside verts of the shoe down slightly secondly fix the arm to shoulder and forearm section by swapping the lengths of each in relation to each other, the length is ok but it should be the other way round thirdly fix the shoulder, you have a massive bulge after the shirt ends at the shoulder that bulge should be in the shirt to suit proper anatomy -----image2 give a bigger bulge for the buttox because it looks like he has none at all, just drag out the base of the bag a little. Just quick point if you are going to use in zbrush ensure that the player is one entire mesh connected ever or several whole meshes. You cannot use in zbrush if it is comprised of several meshes with massive holes just placed together. This will cause problems in the long run. I think that's about it. |
