What's your point, UberInuka? Most beginner's follow tutorials to learn how to use software or make game art.

How else would you like cobalt_raptor to learn?

Well, no matter if it's following a tutorial or not, it's still good practice (Edit: Bah, Glynn got to it before me )

What I'd like to see though are a screengrab of the wires. Otherwise it looks good, except from a few smoothing errors that you might want to fix

Cheers!

Well, it's even more simple than you think I belive. While being in the perspective viewport and having a nice angle of the gun, click (F4) and then (PrtScrn), paste it into PS, and there ya got it

Another way would be rendering them out, there's a tutorial on it here: http://www.game-artist.net/forums/tu...-clay-max.html

But as mentioned in the following post, it's better to use the push modifier rather than scaling or whatever he now does in the tutorial

Oh, and for one not using the light tracer, being a bit more simple and time-saving.. Requiem got a tutorial on it here: http://www.game-artist.net/forums/tu...s-3ds-max.html

Cheers!

Man, for regular WIP wires, don't bother rendering. Just screenprint after you've enabled wireframe, and that's perfectly fine for posting in your WIP post.

Those clay render wireframes are best left for your final presentations
