hey that does look better. your specular and normal map dont really add anything though. For you specular desaturate your color map and then use selections and adjust the levels.

i think the specular could be improved. Grab a texture with a bit of randomness- and add some random grunge lighter splotches for a bit of variation. your diffuse is pretty good and the normal seems fine.

You should really make the round things on your normal map circular. Those round grooves shouldn't look 16-sided (the one top of the barrel for example).

you can improve this by making the metal showing under the paint have some rust and add intensity to the normals there. It also looks like the paint has no volume where it is torn off, so you can either use the load selection - expand selection - fill selection method for that or do it manually.
