Rise of Nations Tank

Im really trying to get a job here. Arent we all. Anyway, i was looking at some concept from RISE OF NATIONS.

So I decided to take on this vehicle because it seems interesting. Anyway tell me what you all think. Im not done though, just wanted some feed back.

yeah, cause it looks a littlebit high poly for a game model, guess this model is atleast 3000 tri's ?

here is a wire

Yea its really high poly, im wondering what poly count they used for their online vehicle.

The polycount is at 8950.

yeah this is way too much, I figure ingame they have a tricount that is less then 1/4 of that.

Yea when i get the rest of the model finished i will then go back and delete alot of faces and cut it down.

kinda late for that, the problem is you've got all these 20 ? sided cylinders, when you can manage perfectly with 8 or 10/12 depending on the scale of those.

ive also noticed hes counting polys, it would work out to be about 17,000 tris :O

texture update, its been a while i know!

i have been working on this alot, hope you all like what i have so far. Still working on it. I stopped at 5,000 polys.

In 3ds Max, the polygon counter counts triangular polygons.

I think the texture could do with some sharpening and damage at the edges.
