That image shows the XM8 with a flash suppressor at the end of the barrel. A must for any modern weapon.

Oh I know. It's still just a temporary barrel. =)

Yeah I figured , looking forward to seeing more of this. Are you going to texture it as well? Few people can get the color tone right on that gun, I know I can't. :|

Yeah, I'm going to texture it, but I'm not the best at unwrapping.
Although, I'll try and learn more, but if not then I'll get one of my friends to do it for me.

Yeah UV mapping can be insanely tricky sometimes. I still hate UV mapping weapons, but it's something you have to do.
