Have you seen...
Purpose of this thread:
The idea behind this thead is to create a place where you can post inspiring work, for other people to see. When this thead grows it will become a place that one can visit to gather inspiration, or to see what other people and companies are working on. What can I post here? Allowed: Everything that is Game-art related. This can be anything: Inspiring work from other artists, Engine Tech demo's, artist portfolio's that art worth watching, interviews, articles, etc. Try to keep the "man-that-was-aws0me"-like posts to a minimum, it wouldn't be posted here if it wasn't. Not allowed: Basicly everything that is not game-art related. Funny videos or jokes may be cool and funny, but they don't belong in this thead. Everything that is out of order will be deleted without warning.

I stumbled upon these two youtube video's, showing some of the shaders that will be used in Far Cry 2. More than worth watching, especially the first one with the car shader...

![]() To keep this ontopic, if you're ever working on a church or a castle, then you definitly have to take a look at the next url. it contains a couple 100 panoramic shots of large buildings going from ancient to moder architecture. Halo
Bungie.net : Projects : Halo 3 : Asset Viewer I always find bungies work very inspiring. I remember working on a level and then closing it down, feeling quite happy with how it was so far. Then I saw my background which was a screenshot of a Halo 3 map and I thought O. Maybe I could add some more. Lol Mass Effect This just says interactive entertainment to me. Every cut scene, if you want to call them that in mass effect is interactive, you always have control over the conversation. The scene in the video above is possibly one of my all time favs. Played though it and watched it MANY times. YouTube - Mass Effect - Ending (1/4) - Spoilers (may spoil the ending) Got more to post some other time. |
