ok, here is a bit of a lighting test. really simple. just flare effects and orange lights. and fire in a barrel. pretty standard stuff. looks well though, i think.

Looks good. I like it when good strong orange lights are used for streetlights. It’s something different. Looking good so far.

progress so far; we have physx intigrated with the engine now, so i have been dumping in all of my physics models i have lying around

yea, i know none of them should be in the street. but physics is fun to play with!!! lol. strictly for testing purposes.

also, i have been working on a stray cat model, mainly just to get back into the swing of modelling organic stuff.

i will get this to our animator tomorow, and hopefully have some animations within the next week.

The cat model looks pretty sweet so far

However the texture is really lacking atm. It looks as if you've just applied a grayish color to it and some dodge and burn lines. It just doesn't do the model justice. What do you have to work with as far as texture sizes?

As for your street scene so far the main thing I spotted was the lack of an ao map. If it is possible to get some ambient occlusion baked for the models it would make it look alot better. And it would help define your model and texture more.

Briamond for your buildings, it's more helpful for us to be able to see wires like irishlostboy has posted for his cat. While the clay renders are tempting to do it is just more helpful if we can see the wires

Good stuff so far though
