Space Marine Fellblade Super Heavy Tank
For which Engine - DAWN OF WAR: Dark Crusade
Current Polycount - 3400 Max Polycount - 4000 Texture Size - na Description of background information on piece - Currently working on the horus heresy dawn of war mod. This tank for those in the know is the predecesser to the baneblade used by the imperial guard forces. This is the super heavy tank for the space marines called the Fellblade. Its a superheavy bad ass. Very nice. do you have a thread for the marines.. i love the pre horus designs for marines. you got a link to the mod page im about to do some DOW models for my reel. if they could use some id gladly shift it over to somethign they need. thoe only thing i would say about the tank is you could probabl;y lose a few polys on that domed turret.. esp right near the top gets a bit crowded

As 'fluff warden' and 'customer' of Lica for this model i must say i'm very pleased with it how it has evolved so far. He really sticks to the refs i furnished him with and he's taken pains to respond to my merest feedback (yes, nitpicker i am

@ tkaza: this is only to follow the model specs for Dawn of War:
- small arms barrels/muzzles = 5-sided cylinders - armour cannons/very heavy weapons = 6-sided cylinders Believe me, when smoothed correctly and textured it doesn't show as 'square'. Look here, from the original game (i'm too lazy to take screens this morning ):Low specs shot: http://www.alliance-francophone.net/...NEBLADE_02.jpg Normal specs: http://www.druidika.de/images/dowwau.../baneblade.jpg http://imperial.boinaslava.net/wh40k/wa/baneblade.jpg Besides, the contrast between the main turret and the main cannon accentuates this blocky impression since the turet is very rounded.
