I played around with the face a fair bit. He's been stretched up considerably and I've overhauled the propotions. I'm much happier with how it looks now

With face pose morph;

No morph;

Briamond: I like the low poly you've got, but the high poly doesn't seem to have been taken high enough. You could maybe try making the high poly mesh you're baking it from a lot smoother and refined to give better results. Currently it's still actually quite blocky and it looks like that's resulting in a pretty messy normal map. Maybe try a turbosmooth modifier on the tiles and throw in some extra loops to get that smooth, hard-edged look (and I hope those are all isntanced tiles or that'll be a tedious job :P).

James, he's looking great! I love that style.

Snowfella, normal map is nice and clean, good work Can I see it with just wires?

Oh and why not make something new if its just a boring handgun?!

I'm trying to learn zbrush....so I figured I'd sculpt with it. Sooo here is a little statue thingy. It's still wip, I believe I'm only on like level 3 detail, so its still rough.

Looking cool dude, but the horse is a little weedy looking and in kind of an akward pose. Maybe try more of a struck/dramatic pose, something a little more exaggerated?

Here's a wire for you mate, not really perfect but it will do.

Might add that it's set for animations with internals built plus fully modeled mag.

The real deal is very flat and without detail mate Trust the ruskies to make simple but functional pieces, especially back in the late 1920's when this one was designed.

art pipeline test for ue3, 280 tris, 1024x256 diffuse/spec/normal, supports are 512x256 havent started texturing that yet - it's supposed to be a set of unreal-style stairs.
