There was a comp a few weeks ago, texturing a chest. I had ago but tuck to much time texturing. As I had fun doing it I desided to model and simple box/chest UV map it and texture it.

Its about 50%



I've laid out the textures but have'nt added any real detail. I'm trying to go for that old damp look. As for the UV map I relized while mking the texture I could have used more of the space. Take the gold coins, after down-sizing them I've lost most of the detail so I might have to go and change a few things.

PS:
I was thinking of seeing how it looks in UT3 will I have every think UV-mapped ? like those chain sections ?

cool work schuey!

I started working on the NextLevel Art test. I'm sure some of you have seen the concept floating around. My goal was basically to do it better than everyone else. I'm pleased with it thus far my modeling skills have increased 10 fold. Its always good to see progress.
