Thanks for the comments fellas. Going to be - 2 for a high Saturday so it will be a perfect day to model.
![]() Thorjan - While I could easily go that route I don't think it would save much time and the results generally look better with geometry. This also gives me a better idea how things will look in the end. Moving around bits on the model I can do instances of the floating geo and tweak but in PS I think its more of a hassle to tweak those bits and rerun them through crazy bump overlay ect. Cool face talon your sculpting is coming along. Cant really crit this well though as I haven't studied facial anatomy. |

I ordered a 3D Max training video on Boxing Day to make a space ship and this is how it looks so far. I would most likely have it done by now, only I have doubled it as a college assignment so I have to do a thing called a Digital diary which takes away from the fun a bit and takes longer.
Any way I have learnt loads from this video and am looking forward to doing the texturing bit as that’s something I am shit at and need to find out how to do right. Polycount: 4,518 Poly's Render: ![]() Wireframe: ![]() |
