Hey ImsumDave, thats a nice sword. I really like the shape.
But the painted "tribal" (?) would also be affected by damage, dirt and scratches. The leather could use some more used-look as well, especially where the player/npc is holding the sword. |

Thanks. I thought of this sword as an old sword that has been fixed up just well enough to kill things. The blade was dull and undecorated. An amateur blacksmith roughly sharpened the blade edge on a grinding wheel and stenciled on the tribal. That's why the tribal has little wear.
As for the handle leather, I do agree that it could use some more wear. I'll have to add a layer of wear and grime. |
