basic body and clothing worked out

now I'm going to try to make her real UV map and to put on details

I normally do shoes and hands last

I checked and she's 2,800 tris even - partially because I have to double some of her polygons (such as inside shoes and both sides of hair) so that the normals will show on both sides which is just the way that the current rendering engine works

Looks nice. The wool seems slightly like rock, though I don't know how you could go about improving upon it, perhaps incorporate some photo texture, r hand paint something similar?. Also if I were you, make the wool match, or transition to the legs and head a bit better, because for a minute I thought they were untextured.

Model-wise, it looks great.

You are working with Blender I suppose? (blue bg )

For the normals problem, consult this thread:

One side of my object is invible - Blender Artists Forums

I couldn't find the button so I'll just send you there it tells you how to enable rendering of both sides of a face.
