Could be that it is not a famas... Is this your own version of what could be a carbine version of QBZ-97, because I can't find any real pics of it? Mmm.. except stargate atlantis features the weapon, but it looks a bit different from yours..

Yes, I supposed it could be, but the first weapon that popped up was the famas. Either way, it looks too skinny..

The gun I used as reference first was the Chinese QBZ-95. Then the director of the modification asked me to change it to a QBZ-97B Carbine, like the one in your picture.
And then when my 3 days of work on it was over, this was the result. He was happy about it so that's cool. I'm still editing the model though to get it looking more like the original one. (The QBZ-97B Carbine)
