Sweet, that's the best looking demo I have seen that actually runs at a decent rate. If you are also on BlenderArtists forums, check out Endi's (I think he called it Boom - Blender Doom), it looks awesome for the BGE but it runs at like 4 to 5 FPS, promising, but the code needs optimized on the engine.

well, endi's demo does use things like dof, and has a *lot* of objects, whereas so far i only have a non-interactive scene with two lights and three objects. The only maps im using are colour, specular/specular colour, normal and reflection.
also, its running on an athlon 64 x2 5600+ and nvidia 8600gt, so its not quite a slow rig. Last edited by tigger; 10-21-2008 at 02:56 PM. Reason: phrased the last sentence wrong, giving it a completely different meaning :) |
