yeah you probably could use those tris from the cylinders on the large sections but other than that the distribution looks pretty even, nice model

It looks very scratched and almost brushed steel shiny, which isn't what I'd really expect with stone bricks.

Talon, i totally agree with you on that. It's just going to take alittle tweaking.
I'm going to play around with the specular map after work tonight and see if i can get it looking some what more like stone.

Mysterious fantasy APC appears once again. A highpoly version for normalmap generating is in the works.

Looks cool, some nice texture work there, although the large pockmarks make it look like it's make out of concrete.

I'll have to agree with Talon there, if you would have intended to make a concrete texture it's prettydarn nice though

But, remove those "pockmarks" and just add some subtle grunge and it'll prolly look fine

Playing around with some handpainted textures right now, have applied for an internship at Starbreeze and have my fingers crossed it will result in something good.

So anyhow, I plan to create a full pack of these, this is what I've got so far:

Diffuse and then Specular map.

Normal is baked from a mesh.

Started on something new.. finally. I've been dry for about a month now, maybe more :P

So yeah, the start of a creature. I'm having trouble with the hands and the teeth though.
