hehe, thanks guys

Yea I realize that I might have overdid it a bit with the step and the door. I'm not leaving much room for objects. I was actually thinking that this is outside, like in an allyway.

I have layed down the base colors for now, but before I go any further I'll try to sort out the door issues as well as the step.

@ doylle... yea I'll probably make some more and different scenes in time. Keeping in the same style but fitting the theme of the props I want to show off.

Used Mudbox 1 yesterday for the first time. Here's my second ever go at it. Some bits I'm not happy with (old man jowels aren't as great as I wanted them), but any crit would be pwnage.

From a Mudbox head primitive.

The eyes look pretty big, or at least wide.
He looks pretty skinny and most of the skin looks like its pretty tight to the flesh, but then the loose skin around the jaw seems to pop out of nowhere.
Those features just struck me.

Then again, I'm not familiar with the concept you are working from, not sure if he is meant to be human or some other type of humanoid creature.

Z! Yeah, The jowels (the droopy bits of flesh under the cheeks) were an afterthought, to try and push the age of him onto you a bit more. I know it didn't work and these are just practices, so sod it :P The eyes - I'm kind of straddling a point of semi realism and style as you might be able to tell with my next one. I didin't bother with a concept Thanks man!

More sketching from this afternoon.

Looks better than my first sculpt, that's for sure. I think if you could make some sort of hole under his teeth, that would suggest a mouth, that it would look awsome. The eyes are still what's bothering me most. They look more fake than his teeth imo
