Armanguy: I agree with Talon. It at least needs some sort of grill/ cover on it to stop debris/ dust getting in.
niks: Looks like the rear wheel arch isn't round.

Been a while since I have posted some of my stuff on this forum..
I've put some of the harder stuff on the shelf for now and focused more on mod work, and getting experince as well as refining my workflow in modeling and texturing. I was inspired by one of the entries in the current speed modeling contest to finally make a little "showroom" where I can place small objects and enviromental stuff for beauty renders. I'm pretty much done UV mapping it and looking forward to some good texture practice (I've on purpose planned on having a lot of different materials there so I have a good practice piece for material definitions using normal and specular maps) ![]() |

Looks solid z-trooper, with the right texture this will look great. I'm not sure if using this as a scene for all your renders is a good idea. You really want the focus on your "new" prop, and with a scene like that people might loose their attention i think.
but other than that, quite interesting... |

Your door either looks really wide, or really short, and your doorhandle looks on the large side. Also. Not sure of the design choice behind having a step on the inside of the building - doors usually open inwards and your hinges are on this side of the door :P A welcome mate of some kind might be a better idea? Other than that, get her textured ![]() |
