TKAZA: Yeah. Seconded. I think the reason it's less convincing with the diffuse texture applied is that you seem to have used no colour variation on it. Rocks are made of all sorts of minerals and stuff, and you seem to have gone for only one hue value.
Check out some ref, shift the colour about a bit, and it should start coming together as something that's a bit more interesting. The normal map looks ace, btw ![]()

tkaza: what the others said sounds reasonable, try mixing up your colors a bit and see what you get. goes for the bunker too, try putting in few spots of greenish/blueish tint, should help the piece. models' looking nice though, though I got to agree that a few rocks would help make the ground look less muddy.
