Paintball Player

Oh the pain of trying something for the first time.... (rant over).

So this is a paintball player which I've been asked to do for an HL2 mod. I accepted because I wouldn't mind having a better understanding of the workflow involved with such work. Maybe some of you have nothing to crit yet and are waiting for more images. However, if it looks like shit right off the bat, tell me where and why please !

Started with the head, currently around 500 tri's...

are you basing it off any particular mask?

because that nose piece looks awkward to me, neither of my 2 masks have the area under the nose bending back in

The JT mask goes in a little, but I pushed it back even a little more just to define the angle more.

this one is mine (attachment) you mean that one? or this one

because the curve is more subtle... I sugest adding another cut/edge/loop what ever into into that dip, because it becomes OVER defined... pull it out a little bit too, I can get you some pictures of it if you want (profiles)

alright then, when you get to the texture make sure it looks like the player couldnt clean it well enough, only the sponsored and beginners have clean equipment :P

The only thing I can crit right now on is the bottom of the mask
it needs to be pulled down some, right nhow, it would probably be as low as the bottom lip, needs to go down lower, so like finishing at around half way down the neck.
