Blizzard Contest Entry! Big Image DUMP!!

Hi guys , I decided to throw my hat into this crazy Blizzard fray.
Im making a Taurck. Half Tauren half Orc.
Ive been going at him in my spare time for about a week now, So I'll post the entire W.I.P progression I have.
Crits and Thoughts are appriciated.

Cool, it's Ghost_Rider! I really liked the concept for this one, and it's coming together great. I like the shoulder to chest transition, but the hair to horn still looks a bit odd, and the braid hair doesn't look as strong as the beard hair. I'm sure this'll all come together with the final texture. Best of luck on this competition!

Thats great stuff man! Texture comes along very nice, good job on the hair and horns. A lot of details so far.

Imo his fingers look slighly thick. Are you going to put that guy in pose? Would be nice to see him in an action pose that weapon!

BTW, why am I getting a virus warning when checking your site?

zortech: Thanks for the replies guys, Yeah I do plan on posing this guy for the final renders. That's a bit worrysome your getting a virus warning, I have no Idea really. Our computers here at SOE have crazy good virus protection and firewalls, and I dont get anything when looking at my site from work.


Xadeko: "When the student is ready the teacher will appear" -zen proverb. allthough in our case it's more like "The student is ready, and the teacher is too Lazy" hahahahaha. Maybe one day I'll make a detailed tutorial on my process. Thanks man.

chris holden: Sup my polycount brotha. Yeah, The hair is better than it was If it was a differnt color It might be easier, black hair is a pain to convey even when it's just straight. Braids are a bugger. I think what might be jarring you is the lack of sillouette on the braids. Im sure if I threw in more polies it would look more "Right" but alas, I dont have it in the budget. What would you suggest?
