wehn it comes to symbols and weather or not they have been created previously, Symbols.Net - Directory of Signs, Glyphs and Symbols hag a graphic index that id very usefull for that, it would take some time since youve got allot of symbols but it would be worth it
wehn creating symbols it would be good to learn types of symbols, like hobo signs and the like, start recognizing the tyope of symbol your looking at and when creating symbolically relevant symvols start using basic shaped with many meaning like trinagles, lines circles and the like. there allot to take into account when createing symbols, their age is definately something not to overlook. well i dont want to rant on too much, but i hope i could help. |

Took a look at that site. Looked fun and interesting.

Got an email from here to tell me post something here what I've been up to :P
So I'll post what I did last night: Cloaked EMPNP HUD Video 52 second WMV - it looks approximately how it will look in the game first person view; should be about the same animations as the character does... I've also rendered the character doing the animations in a box shaped room with some lights: Cloaked Noid Video 85 second WMV Also I made some final rendering pic of that cloaked character to my portfolio: ![]() But maybe I'll do it again, since that overbright yellow on top of its head troubles me a bit... |

Those map screenshots were really early, just slapped couple brushes in less than hour so I can see how the textures looked ingame... I'll do some more mapping when I get more textures... now all textures modelled for this texture set seen in the screenshots... Supposed to be some old bomb shelter/laboratory/detention centre themed steel... In the dirtier versions is meant to be some blood and vomit... (like someone really had vomited that much :P )
