Twisted metal: Sweet Tooth
For which Engine - None
Current Polycount - n/a Max Polycount - alot! Texture Size - probably 2048x2048 for portfolio Description of background information on piece - In concept, Twisted Metal is a demolition derby which permits the usage of ballistic projectiles. Players choose a vehicle and an arena—or a series of arenas in the story mode—to engage in battle with opposing drivers. A variety of weapons and upgrades are obtainable by pick-ups scattered throughout the stage. The last driver alive is the winner. Although each individual game features its own storyline, they all revolve around the same basic theme: a man named Calypso hosts a vehicular combat tournament called Twisted Metal with the promise of granting the winner one wish. There is a general "be careful what you wish for" theme, as many of the contestants wind up with not-so-happy endings. The games in the series usually contain a healthy dose of black humor. Many of you may know that one of the games most recognizable characters is Sweet tooth (aka Needles Kane ) and his ice scream truck of the same name. My goal in this model is to recreate the ice cream truck( Sweet tooth) Where are you looking to receive criticism - Unlike most of my other projects where i just start making my model i would like to research what i am making so that i can make a good and solid portfolio piece all i need is your help. _________________________________________________ In the series the ice cream truck goes through alot of changes but keeps its feel here are some pics: tm1: ![]() tm2: ![]() tmblack: ![]() i think i might go for a rusted out piece of junk?what do you guys think i should go about it? |

I think you've jumped the gun on the details, forget the wheels, headlights, grille and all that for now, let's just get the shape right. Before I can give you any real critique, can you show some wires? I'll give you my first thoughts about the model, though:
![]() Hope it makes some sense to you. |
