Congratulations! I modelled an anatomically quite correct skeleton myself some time ago for a fantasy game. That was very tiresome work

thx stefan, well the skeleton is the easy part :P

@ thonz, in my class, yep

anyways, im planning to start making the skin om monday. Maybe I will make a thread then in this section, because i really can use some feedback when it comes down to modelling the face. I even got a raise in polycount because my teacher expects me to model the head (it is not neccesary for this project), so i can't let the man down now can I

And yep he's a tough one, but he knows his stuff. Was art director on Spiderman the movie, worked at Square, THQ and a bunch of other studio's, great guy with a great bunch of knowledge
Only problem is that the deadlines he gives are sometimes a bit short.

For example the skin should be done with sub divs, 99% of my class has zero experience with those. He's expecting to see some results next week already, if he doesn't like it, this will effect your final grade :P So a lot of people, who haven't even started on the muscles yet (!) are basicly screwed :P

StefanH: Nice portfolio; keep it simple and it'l be one of the nicer ones.
Schuey: Nice work...i'd hate to model that..

Decided to do another knife before I move onto modeling weaponary and other stuff..

Ref was titled Fairbairn so thats what it is I guess.. Not extremely accurate but good enough.

some feedback i can give now:
the pelvis and the skull aren't anatomically correct from what i can see. Perhaps you should fix the bones there first before going on to skinning.
I assume you have refs if you don't know what i mean i can point it out

@werd
looks nice but the pattern on the wood looks very strange to me.

A little RTS scene I'm working on:



I'm going to do 4 variations of this scene, each on a different planet. I'm currently aiming for these kind of planets: green, desert, snow, and a mars like one.

yep you are right, im leaving the pelvis as it is for now, maybe i am going to change it when im having trouble draping the skin over it :P The skull indeed is incorrect too, it's just a simplyfication. Maybe if there is time i might build all the bones there, but i don't expect too.
