those two faces on the forehead are a bit....funky. However, they don't seem to be causing any problems so I guess they're ok.
That's modo isn't it? I don't like that blue/yellow shading :z blegh! However, the shading on the top right model looks really nice....modo is weird. @blackjack: are the bumps on those flag thingies modelled or textured in? |

Hah, don't worry about that blue/yellow stuff. It's called "Gooch toon" shading and Talon is the only person on earth who uses it. The hi-poly looks nice, although it looks like the model's neck goes back farther than your own by a bit. Can't wait to see the final product.

Bleh, gooch tone shading rules. Lets you see the shapes of the model really well as it's very high contrast, although it's mostly useful for when you're rotating it.
And, yeah, it's modo ![]() Tycho: Yeah, the neck's just sort of filled in atm, I'm mostly focusing on getting a good likeness in the face and then I'll move on to roughing the rest out (it'll mostly be covered in hair, anyway). And some lip sync stuff I did for uni :P Pre-made model, we just had to make the morph shapes and rig. Had some fun with Reactor for the rig on this one ![]() Sergeant Avery J. Johnson! Damn alchemist, looking great man. Can we see the mesh you made in maya?
@ BlackJack: Nice texturing, like it alot. The horizontal bars of the flag poles don't realy convince me though. @ Talon: Mesh looks prety clean. Lookin forward to see the normal map you made with it... |
