Those books look real nice. The green one's a little plain but since it's a WIP you'll porbably add writing or something. Good job though.

my first work

hi

i started working with 3dsmax8 2 weeks ago.

and thats my first work i`ve done. its still needs much work but i want some crits to get a better result. tell what you think about and i hope you can help me. the tri count is 1688. my maximum is 5000.


Ps: thx to warape for helping me to make the first steps in the world of 3d modeling

I had a bash at ZB3... still can't get my head around the interface. Feels extremely unintuitive still and it doesn't seem to run so well on Vista.

I guess I'll be sticking to mudbox :P

Pretty funny though, you think the ZB interface is unintuitive, i think so about mudbox

Mudbox is basically Maya's interface, which is one of the standard 3d packages. ZBrush screwed me up crazy with all those mouse button moves. Took forever just to figure out how to mvoe around. Then again it's really more a question of getting used to something rather than who has the better interface.

are you both Maya users? That would explain it a bit i guess.
Tried Maya twice, couldn't get around the interface and now i feel dumb.
