@ Prozac360: Try an extra alpha channel, black being focused, and white being totaly blurred. then go to filter>Lens Blur, and set your new alpha channel as your source (it's the first or the second combo box if i'm not mistiking). This will give a better result i think...

Those are big pics for a scope.

Try not to go over 640 wide with images, especially in this thread where a lot of images are presented, but mainly because it breaks the format of the forum making posts more difficult to read.

Haven't posted here in a while, anyway im turning that 17k tri Panther model into a nice 5k version.

I'll skin on detail etc as I need the time to try texture work etc.

made a sketch today of the new island,

the right side is going to be low land, the dark coloured edge will be beach.
the left side will be cliff's, so the little river wil be flowing for high to low.

then i placed a little town on the bottom, this part has cliffs and beach.. The houses here will be build on the cliffs so they won't wash away, and the people can still make use of the beach.

this town probably gets a wooden fence, so it has some protection.

( the waters stream is coming from noth/east, thats why the beach is on the left side. )

any idea's or comment to make it better?

there already is a river, that has 2 beginning's and i think thats more then enough.

also by cliff's i mean that it is on higher ground, so there are already some hills and stuff but real mountains are a bit to big for a small island like this.
