Guess you could run your texture through CrazyBump and see how it goes though. Sometimes CrazyBump is so good it's... crazy.

I really like the that wall texture by the way, keep us updated on your progress.
I think to get away with a crazybump texture would require a lot of editing of the diffuse. The highlights are too strong and makes the texture lumpy in the wrong places

Craig: Yes that's probably true though.

My zbrushing didn't turn out very well by the way. The brush refused to get anywhere near smooth, can't figure out why. I'll try to get some proper help from one of my teachers later this week.

Anyhow, right now I'm working on something different that however could work fine with the sofa in an environment; An old TV.

I wanted to use this in some kind of UI experiment as well so the buttons are pretty high res. It all 2556 tris right now, could optimize it a bit for sure.

@Craig Lewis: like that man, how did you generate your normal maps, high poly model?

It has been a while since i've been able to do some serious 3d work, but this is something i'm working on for a friend of mine. It's not for ingame usage, but my game-texturing skills are comming in very handy for this

I'll see if I can post texture sheets when i've finished it...

Awesome stuff Doylle.

Maybe a little grainy but it could just be the result of a sharpen filter on the render.

hmm, i'm blaming the double sharpen filter on the texture. bad habbit, but it looks so nice on the texturesheet . I'd better lower it...

Tsk, shouldn't ever do more than one - it shows up really badly :P

(Ideally no more than an unsharp mask at 50%!)
