Yeah, for a college project we've been put into groups to make an environment, so we chose to do a mental asylum.
I think rather than try and do a full asylum, we'll just do a few rooms, but try and make it really detailed. Though it's our first environment, so I dunno how it'll turn out. |

Working on a sofa model, don't know what polycount I'm aiming for.
![]() Most things will be imported into zbrush to be sculpted. Buttons, stitches and so on. The bottom part will also be turned into a normal to reduce the polycount ever further. (it's kinda high-poly right). My basic reference , will the mix it with this style. Got inspired of Craig Lewis nice model a few pages back, might be obvious though. Anyhow, thanks Craig ![]()

Craig: Yeah well I have never used zbrush but I though it could be a nice thing to know
And this feels like a project that isn't too hard to complete.Guess you could run your texture through CrazyBump and see how it goes though. Sometimes CrazyBump is so good it's... crazy. I really like the that wall texture by the way, keep us updated on your progress.
