Thanks for the comments and crits Glynnsmith. Wanted to keep this around source specs and just went off the barrels in CS for a guide. Good call and putting in some metallic scratches. I think I'll go ahead and do that. Most of the references I checked had all rust no metal but it would enhance the look.
Texture was done at 512x512 and looks decent in ps. I'll take a look at my render settings and see what I can do to get a better crisper shot. I agree it blurred a bit in the render. I'd like to keep on with that environment and build it up to a full set and may still do that but for the time being I need to do some urban stuff. Local studio here is looking for an enviro guy and they mostly do realistic military FPS work. |

NeoShroomish, if what you meant was about model oriented was the whole 2.5 pixal thing. Then yeah it's still basically the same, like alchemist said, theres a rapid UI that lets you work comfortably with your model. Other than that, still same old zbrush, I prefer using the classic UI though.

I got bored today so decided to model a face to get some practice in. It turned out pritty good. Only took me like 2hours which isn't bad for a face.
