M16 stuff - 5300 tri's - Dial on the right side of the rear sight needs to be extruded a little more, but it's a 2 second job.

looking good SpaceJesus!

One or 2 little crits though.

1: The stock should flow in a straighter line from the reciever, it look like you have a little step inbetween them.
2: Rear sight aperature looks alittle big, shouldn't be sticking up over the protection that the carry handle provides.

did some texture work, and applied some of the techniques that zortech talks about in the render scene topic

I don't agree with the wood trim base in this house design. The stonework would be much heavier, and quickly crush and disintegrate the wood as it would rot quickly being in close contact with ground mud, parasites and water. It being curves around the sides is a little odd. It works for the smaller trim up top because it's assumed to be smaller planks. Also, since you're image is less than 640x480 worth of content, why not crop it down to that size so it doesn't break the forum format with wasted image space.

sword for oblivion

I could really do with some help on setting up decent lighting for taking render shots. i have never paid any attention to it before as all of my modelling work was going straight in-game.

So only things to add are the hairs and this patch thingy on the hat to hold the side.
