Female Game Character
Hey guys. This is still in the very early stages of development but I thought I'd give a little insight into what I've been up to lately. This Character is being created with the help of reading a book called Game Character Develpoment In Maya by Antony Ward. It's definately an invaluable resource for any new game artists. Anyways, here's the preview:

those legs are CRAZY long! also seems like you are workin way too many segmetns around on those arms and legs, easier to work low at this stage,, even square, and get the shape and proportions and pose all right, then round them out,, depending on the game she is being made for, i would sugest, 5-8 segmentts around on legs and arms

go with 8 J, 5 is to low, realy to low, just think about what i said about those new computers.
and maybe it's best to use 7 for the arms, this way you can turn it so there is a flat part under the shoulder, this is best for deformation i believe. for a good reference you can use the one in the insperation thread, good luck buddy |
