Ninja WIP

Hi everybody,

I finally got a chance to start working on my Ninja. The first picture is the reference that I found on the internet. So far ,I have done 50% of the model. I also rigged the model and took it to motion builder for fun and did some motion capture stuff with it . Also with new Geometry caching in Maya 8.5,I was abled to make 100 ninjas in the scene without having any problems.I watched them for hours moving and doing crazy stuff
I would be happy if u guys share your ideas with me and tell me what you think of it .

Best Regards,

Haha I would totally go for a video with those 100s of ninjas

Obviously he's far from done right now but I think you could work more on the cloth, add more folds and stuff. Right now it doesn't read 100% as a fabric that he's wearing. The little dip/crease down near the bottom also looks werid. The low-poly seems like it could be reduced more, as far as the amount of detail you've got in the silhouette vs. the number of polys you used, but other than that there's no problems that I can see.

Hello,

Look pretty nice, i realy like the concept drawing. High poly model isn't bad at all neither...

Looking forward to see some progress...

Cool a NOD ninja.
It looks promising so far, nice subtle high poly mesh.

Looking Super Sweet Home3d2001.

I especially love the mask he has in front of his mouth!

I think you could get more out of the cloth sculpt. Just now it's reading as some very stiff material, something like carpet or such.

Some more natural wrinkles would work better as if the cloth is hanging off the character.

Digging the design, though Look forward to seeing this finished.
