for now the bike is just sitting there.will place it when i finish it and maybe add a few more things but for now i just wanted to practise modelling and texturing.
i am showing just a screen grab from the maya viewport as its closer to what it would look like in game i think??does anyone have any ideas where to learn how to get your models ingame to view them???
also the shadows look horrible i know.im guessing thats the best my graphics card can do?
any crits/ideas welcome.
cheers.

Looking pretty good to me. Nothing to crit

What engine were you thinking of taking it into?

Use the Unreal Engine. It's very artist friendly. Just import, light, play. No compiling or the like. Fast and easy. Tutorials are all over the net. Consider http://udn.epicgames.com

Nice little scene. Wires look good, the texture can use some more contrast and some more color.

I think 2.5 is the latest, but I dunno about the details. You should find them at UDN or www.unrealtechnology.com. There's also 2.X or something, but i believe that one's for consoles only!? Anyway, UEngine3's Editor (GoW, UT3) will be similar to the current one, so you'll have a good start modding next-gen stuff with UE3, if you get to know the latest engine resp. editor.

very nice and realistic scene. I think the lighting of an engine will give it the contrast it needs.
