Man of Steel WIP

What’s up all!
It’s been a while since I have last posted. I just want to get some feedback on a character I'm working on. I recently watched the trailer of Man of Steel and I felt compelled to attempt to make a cg character. I’m currently working on the face and would like to match Henry Cavill’s face as close as possible so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good.
Zbrush 4R5 has a transparency mode so that you can make the whole interface see through. With images on your desktop you can match photo refs inside zbrush that way. Big time saver

Looks good.

Almost thought it was a Lex Luther/Superman hybrid - because of the bald head.

Yeah I have some placeholder zbrush fibermesh hair but since the proportions on the head keep changing Ill wait until I feel the head and face are as close as I can get then put the hair back on.

Kanga's suggestion about the new 4R5 see through feature is actually pretty cool and easy to use plus its very easy to swap out the image which is proving to be a big help.

Nice!
I would trim the legs down a bit, make the gap between them smaller, grey the eye whites so you can see highlights and make the face more attractive. Practice faces, they are hard but fun

Cheers

Here is a quick paint over

Some changes:
The eye height needs to decrease
Mouth width brought in a bit
Hair line brought down a bit
The cheek bones are a bit too defined
Jaw line width slightly less

I would also decrease the head size (a bit more in superhero proportions although what you have is a possible porportion)

thanks Kanga and Skwiggs! Yeah the head and face have been what I have been working on for a while now my goal is to try and match Henry Cavills face as close as I can. Here is a overlay using see-through mode in Zbrush it may be hard to differentiate between the model and the image the neck doesn't line up since in the pic he is turned a little. None of the pics above have this revision of the this face/head... if that makes sense.

Hey man, looks really cool! The feet seem a bit 'clunky' and heavy from the front view, but it might just be the angle of the perspective. I think the hips could be brought in a little to make the overall gesture more dynamic, as right now the lower torso is just kinda boxy. I'd like to see your update of the face as the recent photo looks like you're getting a pretty good likeness. Keep it up!
