@warinmysky: Thank you very much, i'm really trying my best

Update again:

-totally worked over the materials again, changed values on spec/diff etc, added rust here and there.
-textured the next part
-learned how to use emissive lightning using masks in UDK

problems:
-I didn't yet fix the smoothing-groups
-some things on the new part are still buggy/wrong, no worry, i already noticed, will do immidiately when im awake tomorrow
[Normal Map is bad, the "emitted" white left light seems placed wrong,..] *noted*

next up:
-fixing texture of newest part [including normalmap etc]
-texturing the next part
--> I don't fix the smoothing groups for now, because i have to reimport all .ASE's when doing the proper modular composition, so they all snap together etc, I'm gonna do that all at once


pics: Important: This is just a test, this is not my understanding of modularity

Hey Guys
Today I worked on the Highpoly for the Light, baked it's normals and created the texture. Not only that, i also created the texture for Part 5 More decals will be added later.

First of all: This is my new profile, a namechange wasn't possible, so my old profile (Bwarazor) was deactivated, and here it is, my new profile (Cb_ArTs) which is actually a parody to my familyname "zeeb"

Update:

I didn't stop working, i continued, and started with the composition, and with adding decals, some might be too much for now, i will see it later, i'm planning to add a lot more detail

Sweeet! The dirt and grime looks really good in here. The brown decals maybe a touch too strong (lower opacity?) but I like the placement and function of all of them. Keep rocking

I thought exactly the same thing about the green decal, i just have to figure out how to lower optacity, lowering optacity seemed easy on all other decals, but on this one it didn't work, but shouldn't be a longterm problem

Hey Guys,
I worked really hard today, since I really want to finish this scene, and I'm slowly coming to the end (sure, there's still much to do..)

I deleted the green grunge completely, added pipes "under the floor" etc., this took me the whole day, hope you like it.

Hey Guys, I'm pretty much done with it, some fixes here and there (maybe lower the lens flares especially on the "Blue-version".

The loose panel has a light that is still on which is alittle odd.
Do you have an environment texture on your metal? Reads like heavy brushed/worn metal, I always thought in Deus Ex all the interiors were pristine and well kept

Yes, you're right with the panel, the light will be turned off, that's one of these "small fixes" i still have to do, but forgot over time
Like i said, i was planning to make it look like used/worn metal, that's why it's only inspired, but not totally remade
