For a first character attempt that pretty good.

Anatomy adjustments, that might help:
Lower the eyes and eybrows.
Rasie the nose slightly.
The cheeks towards the bottom want to fleshed out a bit.
The lips shape isn't quite right, the top lip looks very small and stick out too muchwith the detail, and the lower lip needs to curve off at the end more. The lips are also a bit bumpy and could do with being smooth down a bit.
The back of the jaw I would make less smooth off.

Here is a paint over for some of the antomy changes.

For the eyes, I would add some sphere and then sculpt round them.

Just want to add something to the list.
I also think the eyes are to big... Need to see a front view to confirm it though...

Thanks guys for the critics, added hair and boots, working on clothes. Its going to be a vest with a shirt underneath that has Spanish blow in the wind sleeves.

I know I need to go into the stuff in more detail and the clothes are no where near finished.

Ok well did a base paint in Mudbox, then will take it to Photoshop. But I did realized I wanted more detail in the guy. Yea still working on the boots - not sure about the threading around the vest tho and Not sure about the color scheme yet.

It seems since my high poly is only 500,000 polys its hard to get nice fine - fine - fine detailing of surfaces. I got some good surface detail for the pants but for the vest every stencil I find comes out ugly and out of focused. Also another point is would that detail even show up on a 1k or if I splurge 2k normal map - that fine - fine - fine detail.

I did have a question though for my next sculpt, I'm more focused on 3d models for games and I have seen some artist model there high poly in parts and bake the maps in parts. Is this technique only used for renders because it seems very wasteful of resources. So should I have created this guy in parts, naked male then all his cloths and stuff.
