Cheers for all the feed back, some great advice.
Done the edits suggest and a few other edits, and without the hair as well, so hopefully can see things a bit better. ![]()

The torso looks too large me, the shoulders as well, the hips area could do with being larger. Her face is beautiful.

Cheers for the feedback very helpful, at first I was thinking some of the problems where the size of her head but reducing the shoulders seems to have helpped. I've also done the other suggestions as well, and she does seem to have a bit more femininity to her now.
Here is where I'm upto, still pretty slow progress though. ![]()

![]() Looking good Swiggles. Some stuff I thought might help. The front view of the legs looks like the right arrow lines. The left arrow lines give a gap by the genital bone and more of a 'cradle' look. The profile of the legs have opposing muscle curves you can see in the pic. The calf continues on lower and the lower leg is mostly set back a wee bit from the thigh. There is shape to the shin and the tibialis which stops it from being flat. The face is looking really nice. There might be a bit of jaw missing in the front view. The angle you have usually starts lower. Where your jaw starts it looks too high by the ear maybe. You can see that there is not much muscle insertion going on. Muscles flow over, around, and under each other and they also make corkscrew shapes while they do it to make things nasty! I miss those insertions around the arms and legs. Where the deltoids insert into the back muscles, the tricep isnt there I think. The figure also looks like it is falling forward a bit. Just some stuff, hope it helps.

kanga: Cheers for the crit and paint over, fixed most things, I maybe haven't gone into too much detail in the muscel flow (i did give it another pass, but probably not too noticeable) ,partly cause if I do I may get a similar problem to some of my earlier versions of my model where it took away from the femaninity.
![]() Posed (still got to put the weight behind the pose and other small details and model the hair): ![]()

Nice job on the pose!
Edit: There is loads of good stuff going on in this piece. I means LOADS. There are things that show you know what important stuff to look for. I reckon though that the only way to make this a great piece is to stop with it and start 3d sketching figures in zbrush. Also sketch them in photoshop. Steven Stahlberg says you shouldn't start from scratch each time, but for guys like us I believe that for personal and study projects it is imperative to start each time anew. I think if you do loads of figures and study the material you will look back on this one and see things that are not working with it. I see lots of people make a figure or face and get stuck on it till it is no fun at all. Just tweaking around in circles is a sure fire method to slow you to a crawl and in the worst case, stop you. You should also not give up too quickly or nothing will ever develop, so it is a balance. So for both of us: More figures More figures More figures More figures ![]() Cheers

Cheers Chris,
Yeah I do agree with you on the just doing some quick sketchs (I think I was doing it a bit before I started this project with the use of ZSpheres). I'll probably finish this one up (finish the little details on the pose and do the hair), I can come back later and do more once i've learnt some more. Just need a bit of spare time (hopefully this weekend).

Well I may have got side tracked slight, mass effect is addictive.
But final got round to finishing it off, may come back to it at some other point with a bit more knowledge but for now I'm gonna go with calling it finished. ![]()
