Library Tower

Hi guys! I'm working on little indiegame of the little group of enthusiatic people. And I seem to be the most professional at 3d, though I've never worked on the games before.. So there are a lot of things that I'm figuring out by myself and trying to help other guys too. Characters are the easier part for me - cause at least I'm familiar with the working progress, but I've become really slow when it came to architecture.. So I was hoping to get some tips on what to do and if I'm doing ok. The whole process is scaring me a little
So I'm building here a library tower, that's going to appear at the beginning of the game. The main heroine - kinda fairy princess will jump from the tower window onto the huge mushroom to start her journey.
I haven't started the last floors and observatory yet.
Here is what I've got till now:

And today I've tried painting the normals as it described in this brilliant tutorial!
Making of Varga
Here's the result:

I'm working at Maya and Mudbox, some times ZBrush too (though it's navigation system is killing me). And I'm using Deep Paint too for texturing. Though I haven't started in depth color texturing of the tower yet.

Certianly has alot of potential, what sort of direction are you going for? Looks pretty cartoony atm. I think this would look so epic with a little desaturation, some more detail and material definition in your textures. I always mess about with saturation and levels during the texturing process, totally worth doing if you've hand pick the colors.

I'll try it! Thank you! It's a fairyland tower, it should be kinda cartoony and saturated, but I still have to bring all the colors to some kind of harmony. And I light it with yellow light So it changes everything - though can't say I don't like it
