Just a bit of an update on this as i seem to have generated abit of interest
![]() Quote:
Basically one skylight on the scene with the mulitplier turned down to roughly 0.5,this can depend on scene im creating and how bright I would like the final output / render to be. And one Omi Spot light, again with the multiplier set to roughly 0.5 and the shadow density turned down to 0.5, nothing ruins a scene more in my opinion that shadows that are too dense and look out of place. I Use the omni light to generate a little extra depth and add shadows, brings the model out a lot more in my view. Screen grab below of locations: ![]() Quote:
![]() Done a tad more work on this and changed the ammount of piping on the wing, I thought that 2 lots of 6 looked a tad over kill but didnt want to leave the section completely blank. Added a very basic huminoid shape to demonstrate the size and to hopefully keep things in proportion as im adding bits to it here and there. ![]() Should hopefully have this completed by this weekend, ![]() |

Looks really nice. However If your on 10k polys/tris now, then you could of gone with a higher cylinder sides count, as everything looks high poly, but the the cylinders look a little jaggy. Top notch work though, just the jaggy cylinder sides don't match the rest for smooth-ness.
I hope you don't think this is a moan, as it is not. Good job man. ![]() |
