First character bust

Hey,

This was created following a tutorial from Scott Spencer's book, Zbrush Character Creation 2nd ed, which I recently bought.

I keeping looking back on it and tweaking a thing here, another thing there but I think I might as well show it off now. The next chapter is painting techniques so if I'm feeling brave I might polypaint it.

Any criticisms/comments? This subdiv is at 5 mil.

It looks cools... Only one thing bothers me a bit. The lower lip normally is bigger then the upper lip. Now it is too thin I think. Adding more volume would be better I think.
Can you also post a render of the back? I just want to see how the horn part is attached, because at the first render it's like a big block that just lays on top of a normal head. But I'm not sure because I can't see it very good.
Other then that it looks very cool!
Cheers

Ok I can play around with the lower lip. I wasn't really happy with the detailing on the lip either actually.

Here's the back of the head:

Maybe make the transition between the horns and the head more interesting, like the front of the character.
Instead of making it stop like that, make it more fluent like this:

Or make it start with a harder part like this:

Still, great job!! Just sharing some idea's

Yeah I could give it more of a smooth curved transition at the back, that's something I hadn't considered. Thanks!
