ive started with the seperation of smoothing groups. I was aware about it! Kind of stupid of me to not include it in my Unwrap workflow. It´s getting kind of messy now, But i´m doing it! About the UV Clusters being to close together: Is it to make it easier for me to texture or will it cause problem when baking? since they not overlapping. |

silly question:
Is there any drawbacks using many smoothing groups exept the obvious that u need to seperate the the uv-island. On my test render above for instanse, Should I try to keep to one smoothing group at the cost of increasing the tricount or should i (as i´ve done above) have several smoothing groups and have to seperate the uv-islands creating almost silly amounts of seams? I hope i made the question understanable |
