That's terrible news! Sorry to hear that. You've always been the inspiration I've used to show people what is possible with hard work and dedication inside of Unity. I just came across this site and thread. I'm sorry to hear that things have gone downhill for you. I hope things improve for you soon.

I'm impressed by all the work you've put into this project, however, if you've modeled, textured, scripted, animated, etc. everything in your project, I personally don't' believe you're only spending a few hours a week on it, unless we differ on the meaning of "few". Even still, it's an impressive project. You've done amazing work on this and I hope you'll be able start it back up again some day. The lighting, modeling, texturing, scripting, etc all look amazing. Two thumbs up!

Again, I really hope things improve for you and we can see more of your awesome works soon, even if it's not this project.

Best of luck with the future, keep a backup of your work and perhaps one day you'll be able to get back to it. Until then, good luck with everything! You're an inspiration.

So let me get this strait you didn't know programming and or any 3d stuff 2 years ago
then you almost made a game by your self.
and now your stopping with it

I agree with everyone else. I'm gutted you're stopping this project. It's absolutely incredible what you've achieved on your own, and you should feel very very proud of it
